Day 6 - Shopping in Vence and beer in Nice

Day 6

 

Prior to coming on holiday, we planned a day out in the mountains above The French Riviera, travelling 278 km over 6:13 hours. Should be a fun day out in the mountains. However the mountains were snow-capped and we fancied a day off so didn’t do the route below. 

Traumatic shopping trip to Casino in Vence, although pretty stunning ride over the hills to get there. We did manage to get what we wanted but needed a beer to calm down. 

Then followed a ride down to the coast to see Nice. A slow ride along the Promenade Des Anglaise VERY WARM!!!!!!!!!

Thought we’d get back and chill in the afternoon, which means I have to clean the bike 😂😂😂😂

   

This was one of our favourite nights' "out". We sat in the evening sun and just had simple cheeses meats salads wine and beer!!! We did get "midged" to death though!!!!
